I’ve got a lot of irons in the fire these days and one thing I needed to do was test my camera with holder on a bike rideabout. I already knew I was gonna get some camera shake but you don’t know how to make adjustments until you test it out.
This quick tour is just south of Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville and goes through the medical district just north of Governor’s Drive.
As expected I’m getting more shake than I like, but with other immediate priorities it’s not too bad for a few times maybe. The picture is much sharper than the old camera.
The original was live on Twitch and this rendition has been run through the Google photos stabilizer. At first I thought I would go ahead and crop off the branding because it’s bouncing around on the left and right after running the stabilizer. Then I decided it was kinda funny and a study of sorts showing how the stabilizer actually works, or doesn’t, as the case may be.
And of course, the journalist in me likes to document progress in this phase of my adventure.
