Somewhere in Connecticut. I happened to stop for a break today at the ballfield in the photo. A nice bench to sit on and have a snack, and then, to catch-up on all things Internet. The headlines proclaimed Pete Rose died Monday.
Pete, aka Charlie Hustle, was my AA little league hero with his name emblazoned upon my favorite no. 7 bat. Rest in peace Mr. Hustle. And for the record, I never did believe he gambled on baseball.
