When I started looking around at all the old junk sitting around the house in boxes, not to mention all the empty boxes accumulated preparing for the adventure, I knew it was time for a house cleaning.
I’ve been sorting through files, nick nacks, bric bracs and junk for six months finally consolidated down to another day – I’ve done this one time already – standing by the rusty burn barrel pulling an Ollie North – more or less.
But the whole process has been more involved than meets the eye here. Thank God for digital because it saves all that time and effort and space by digitizing files and records.
It boggles my mind to realize how much you can store on a tiny chip compared to 25 years ago. Of course, files are so much bigger and the quality so much better. No doubt about it – the digital age has arrived.
