This section is about bike packing from Huntsville to Cape Girardeau, Missouri for the total eclipse on April 8th of 2024. Total distance was about 350 miles. Because of bad weather forecast for the next day, I moved ahead on my car rental and left-out for North Georgia and the Appalachian trail on the same afternoon after the eclipse was over.
